Community Based Medical College Details:
The Community Health Foundation Bangladesh (CHFB) established Community Based Medical College Bangladesh, or CBMC Bangladesh, in 1995. The medical college is located in Mymensingh and lies close to the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway Road. By road from Dhaka and Mymensingh town, with conveniently accessible public transportation.
The major goal is to provide high-quality medical education to students from underserved communities. Community-Based Medical College Bangladesh, which is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council and has been connected with Dhaka University since its founding, offers a five-year MBBS program through Dhaka University's Faculty of Medicine. Additionally, students must complete a one-year internship at CBMCHB or another recognized hospital.
